(Where's Alexander Kramer and why is he not drawing this? I totally want to see Binarpilot de Homie Dolan wearing his golden 8-bit jacket.)

Edd Gould's below-radar-level Cow sorrowfully kissed Thy Binarpilot de Homie Doloan's golden 8-bit jacket.

(It is correct grammar. "Binarpilot de Homie Doloan" is the person, Thy is just a title we're using for the person, and everything else makes sense.)

Yea, I don't think this thread really works for people who are still at school...

You're not alone! I check back here every half hour or so, and I also don't play Diabolo.

So, I'm handing in this track for my music assessment. All I need to do now is give it a title and write about how I made it (actually I just did that, see the SoundCloud page). My teacher thinks it sounds spacey, so I've currently opted with the title "Asteroids" (as in the computer game), but maybe one of you could think of a better title? Also, this is (probably) not finished, but rather a short, 2-minute version for the purposes of reviewing and for handing in.

[Asteroids] by Exaro The Keyboard Guy

Also, I'm working on a remix, of which I can show you 30 seconds: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16003224/fat.ogg
If anyone is interested in helping me write lyrics for it, that would be awesome.

What's Alstad 5734 about? I know Alstad is a place in Sweeden (Google told me), but where did the 5734 come from?

Catholics :/ Yea... not the best examples of Christians. I mean, I have nothing against Catholic people, but the way that Catholic Church as an organisation goes about doing things is old fashioned and flawed (as proven by Martin Luther in 1517).

Some Protestant churches are still just hymns, a scripture reading, a message and then afternoon tea, but there are some more 'modern' sorts of churches out there, such as Hillsong and Planetshakers (those are the only two big ones I know of). Anyway, they have a band (drums, bass, guitars, keys) and play worship songs in a sort of modern pop/rock style. On Saturday night I went to a Youth Alive event, where the rapper Young Chosen performed (I'm not really into his style of hip-hop), as well as the Youth Alive band (rock songs!) and then Ben Prescott from Planetshakers spoke to us all about Jesus, but the way that he talked was really cool because he's just a normal guy and the things he was talking about I felt that as a young person in today's society I could relate to.

He also raised a good point about role models of today, and shared his experience talking to a Harry Potter fangirl. See, he was saying that we used to have role models like Chuck Norris and Rambo and Arnold (The Terminator), and Harry Potter just comes along to a fight and... he's got a broom. This girl made the valid point that "He's also got a book." I can't remember what point he was trying to make, but it was funny hearing about this. (He also briefly touched on Edward Cullen, and how he seems so depressed, but didn't go into it very much because a lot of people there seemed to like Twilight...)

So yea, some modern churches are really alive and rocking.
