I'm Spike Brown. Better known as Spadix (In Latin "spadix" means two things...1.)A spike, and 2.)The colour brown. (actually it specifically means a rich chocolately brown, as opposed to mud.)
I produce a lot of music; I'm fascinated by making chaos out of order...which is partly what drew me here. I also harbour an obsession with decay, an under-used resource in the multiverse, in my opinion.
I make no money from my music. Anything that comes in from my works goes straight to charity. I enjoy the fact that my work fosters chaos, disorder and deconstruction; and that it's mostly made from things I found and restored from car-boot sales and charity shops or skips that nobody else could make music from. My production costs are a micro-percentage of what it takes to make all this popollution that's killing the bodies and souls of our young.
