Hiya folks!

So, I'm in charge of taking the promo pictures. We have some ideas, but I wondered if there were anything in particular you want out of these? Any requests? Binär jumping naked on a trampoline or something :D Just kidding, but yeah!

I will be shooting these photos while having photography at school and at the same time I will be using Alexander as a model for my assignment, some of the assignment photos will probably also be promo. Promo ideas: Alexander being a mad surgen RAURGH, Alexander sitting nekkid with a keyboard in front of his *censored*. He also wants to shoot one where he is wearing a gas mask, haven't figured out whether these should be taken in the studio or on location. These are the promo ideas and at the same time my delivery for zee assignment. For school I will also shoot a normal portrait of him and a surreal crazy one of him with a domino mask with a totally black or white colored face, dunno if these will be promo (prolly not ;D). The latter idea isn't done yet btw. What do you think of these? Any suggestions?

I think the crazy surgeon and the gas mask are good. The others, not so good. Esp. the part about me being nekkid. What don't I put up with to get these promo requests off my back.

Since I'm a sucker for the gasmask-thingie (got this framed on my wall: http://larsbronseth.com/images/DSCF8279_20x30.JPG) I'd like to see some kind of pixelated version. It would be good with different annoying bit-colors and then smashed on a t-shirt aswell.

I bought dust masks too actually, we'll have to see! Unfortunately I don't have a gasmask, koew. I'm going to borrow one probably, and it looks like this.

Beat surgeon!

First ever photo-shoot complete! It was fun, at least at first. Standing, sitting, smiling, looking... Boring. Ida was really upset when we got home and she noticed that the lighting was a bit off on some of the shots. In all fairness this was her first time working alone in a studio, I for one is more than happy with the pictures we got. Even though we couldn't afford lasers. I've selected my three immediate favorites:








So yeah, I finally have promo pictures! That'll shut the "press kit plz"-people up for a while. Hate them? Love them? Ida did a great job? Feedback plz.

All that air guitar playing really paid off! Is that your ancient keyboard? One day that keyboard is going to achieve sentience and start a music career of its own. Mark my words.

I like the first one quite a bit, very interesting idea to have the ps/2 port being "plugged in".

I haven't thought about taking that kind of angle with your stuff yet.

@LoneShark: Yes it is, five years old now and still rocking out. Only nine keys missing so far.

@anthony: Actually that shot was an "accident", as in, it wasn't staged. I was messing around when Ida took it.

My glasses are even more broke now than last time we met. One of the glasses broke in two and I have super-glued them together, spilling glue all over the other glass in the process. They're not so much glasses now as they are impractical nose-ornaments.

How can you survive nuclear winter if you can't super glue your glasses together?
Getting lenses, or staying away from all the opticians as they only sell the most hyped up glasses and frames?

To my defense, the super-glue wasn't so super. The spillage occurred the fifth (!) time I glued them together after falling apart. The applicator was plugged and glue-rage mixed with little patience resulted in a torrent of sticky matter. Why does that sound dirty?

I will be going back to lenses for the time being. Finding the cheap, blocky frames that I like has proven difficult in this country.

Those kind of dansband-glasses can probably be found at Shell for 10 kroners. :D The downside to it is that they only help you read and stuff, which you hopefully don't have any difficulties doing yet.

Shell-bans are not good for anything at all. I suppose I could buy a pair and remove the glasses, but that's, incredibly lame.

Or you could remove the frame and superglue the glass directly in front of your eyes.

Wear lenses and a fighter pilot helmet with a colored visor. You would be the coolest kid on the block.

Ahhh! Alexander! I am talking on my friend on the phone right now and she was telling me how I purposely got the same belt as you to be cool. So I found this very old pic of me with my piano belt to establish that I was cool first. yarr

we just got done taking new pictures that are going to be soooo awesome. one of the sets was a "nerd that just got beat up by the cool kids" theme. <3
