Cyberspace » Good (cheap) synths?

do they exist?
You get out what you put in.

In other words, no, not really.

I want to get a Jupiter-8000- totally random, but I want one.
Casios, bwahahah. Although they're not synths, but in this day of age that's probably a moot point. Regardless they do rock, if you're into that sort of thing. "That sort of thing" being horribly cheap sounding pieces of shit. Circuit-bending anyone?
mmm I have been messing round with a little circuit bending lately. I am 100% ameteur, but I am practicing....

By the way, I've got 15 bucks with your Korg's name on it. Any chance you could direct me do the donation thing?
I've been wanting to try it. Looks like a lot of quick fun.

Ah, cheers! Microkorg Fundraiser box is there for the clickety on the site, dawg.
right right right, thank you droogie
There we go, a drop in the bucket for ya, 15 dollars (donated under the e-mail address of woozy@mchsi)

By the way, I got around to joining the facebook group. Now people on it can learn more about me than I thought they ever would have. YAY
Supposedly casios are really good for bending...

How about a vst synth? I might be getting an Oxygen8 v2 Keyboard from M-Audio for christmas, and I already have Ableton Live 5, so that's an option.
The Oxygen is very, very nice.

I'm trying to get a casio vl-tone. already tried to get one on ebay but somebody else was faster. and I don't want to spend more than 20 €. I just love the sound of it. there is a compilation that contains tracks only realised with casio vl-tone. Goto80 also uses it.

MM, my brother just bought one of those for 3 euro :D
