Cyberspace » MadTracker?

Does binaerpilot still use Madtracker to make his music? Can we get the .mt2 files to them? Defrag seems like it was done on something other than madtracker..

I still use MadTracker for almost everything, but lately with more and more third-party VST's. I'll take the notion that you don't believe Defrag was made in MT as a compliment, thank you ;) As for giving away the modules, there's all kinds of legal bullshit concerning that, like, just because I own the rights to use certain samples doesn't mean I have the right to distribute them and so on, and so on...

Luckily, I don't give a fuck about legalities when it comes to distributing my music, so here's an archive of all the Defrag modules for you.

Nice to have the modules. Though you need the different vst's/plugins as well I presume?

Awesome. I too was wondering about the Madtracker using. The songs are physcing me out. Thanks for clearing that up, and thanks for the Defrag modules...

...esp. since It's kind of a "See and Know" setup for me, where If I were to watch a song play in MT2, I can more easily understand things I didn't know.

Thank you lots Alexander, and also, do you have any contacts for us? Aim, Msn, Icq, Email, etc? (I can't wait to check out the modules =D)

*Adds* I assume this is your email too?

Just wanted to say thank you for sharing your mt2 files. I've left tracker and music creation with ft2 when I went to the limits of what was possible to do with it. I've been quite impressed to read that goof was made with mt2. It gave me the desire to get back to trackers and see what was inside Madtracker.

MT2 file for goof will be good place to start to learn (effects, vst use, ... )
