Cyberspace » Microdisko - The gig at Spasibar (May 25th)

I felt like making an own thread about the Microdisko-gig that was last Friday (25th). It was a blast! Haven't really been dancing anything like that (if you can call clapping, pointing, shouting and shaking for dancing that is) since...ever!

There's also pictures! Check them out here:

Ohh and I got interviewed by a nice girl from Lydverket (NRK, radio) and I mentioned Binärpilot as my primary reason* for being at Spasibar that night. Oh, and there's actually a picture of me getting interviewed:

My black Binär-shirt was soaked when the whole thing was over, and I didn't have much alcohol left in my body, thanks to the heat inside. How did you guys (assuming Elektronaut is here too) cope with it? Must've been horrible, but I know the audience loved you. I did.

Thank you very much for all the tracks played, especially "Celebrate" and "Smile", but I left Spasibar, wondering why you didn't do "Bend" - I bet you've got your reasons.

(*Then there was the other 8-bit'ers Gwen Stacy and Paza Rahm and of course, beer)
The pictures are *awesome*.

I need to get my ass to Norway for this.
ssh, i'm lurking.
I'm absolutely thrilled to hear you had such a great time. It was very, very hot in there. The place was packed and (it looked to me like) everyone was dancing. It's amazing you guys survived. I recall having slight breathing problems after "Project Wildfire" (luckily my field medic brought me a glass of water). Missing "Bend" was mostly due to setlist progression (purely in terms of BPM). We ran old "downtempo" tracks to begin with and the floor response was crazy, so we decided to switch to more upbeat tracks to keep people jumping. I'll play "Bend" for you on Musikkfest, I promise.
I had great fun. Thank you for dancing.

The set list went out the window somewhere after 5-6 tracks. The heat was insane, I felt absolutely trashed when we walked off stage.
Heh, I wish I could dance. But when I hear your music I just feel like moving my body, and especially when it's as loud (good speakers with subwoofer) and there's other people jumping around.

Looking forward to "Musikkfest" already though I'm a bit annoyed that there ain't more 8-bit/chipmusic-artists there...
