So anyways, this is a thread where you type up a character bio, and pretend to be that character as you try to survive on some random island (or other place) in the middle of whothehellknows where, in a realistic sort of sense. And you can start off with some items that you just so happened to bring along/have with you at the time.

I'm not participating unless it really catches on well.
