Cyberspace » I'd like to interview people

So, I'm writing an autobiographical narrative on anyone I can interview who I think has an interesting life or has done something awesome. (English assignment.) So I thought I'd take this opportunity to spread the word, and I'd like to sort of cyber-interview Binärpilot, and some members of this forum (and maybe his family??), if it's possible, and if you consent.

Anyone who's interested, post below and I'll post/PM question sets to you.

No, I mean I'd like to interview you other members about Binärpilot.
What Do You Want To Know?
probably about how awesome that man is.

o could give a three page essay about that

You should check out some of Alexander's birthday threads, we talk a lot about him/Binärpilot in general there. Or google the Madtracker Binärpilot interview(s). Or PM users. Etc. Etc.

I'll look around. But I'll post questions for the general public to answer and PM people I'd like to interview more specifically.

Ok, Here are the general questions:

1. Genreal info: Name, age, location, background, job etc. (What you include is optional)
2. How did you find Binärpilot?
3. How did you first feel when you heard the music?
4. Why did you join the forum?
5. What influence has Binärpilot had on your life?
6. Describe Alexander based on your experiences with him (whether in real life or just on the forum)
7. Anything else you'd like to add about: you, music, Binärpilot, the internet, basically anything really.

I found binarpilot on a video on youtube it was an credits song.
When i first listened to the music i felt diffarant emotions from diffarant music such as calmness and and sometimes sadness and acceptence of what was in my life at that moment.
I joined cause mainly i was trying to find the song out that video i saw but then i found the forum and became quite welcomed to it so i joined and is now a great decion.
Binarpilot for me has influenced me to not give up(Medical Bacround)I was diagnosed with crouhns disease which is a infection in my large intestine which basicly made me feel like a bit of an outcast and well unloved due to it but because of songs like 7 and draugen i feel like life is worth living bit depressing i know but binarpilot is that 'pick me up' I need sometimes.
Alexander to me seems polite wellspoken gentleman who i would love to meet :).
I would just like to say the words that inspire me
DONT LET ANYTHNG GET TO YOU JUST KEEP ON SMILING.
thanks

1. Simon, 16, Germany. Student ATM.
2. I don't really remember, but I think I heard "Smile" in a youtube video of a nerd girl I know from the internetz.
3. Umm. I felt interested, great, and 'understood' as a geek/nerd/whateverffffuuuu.
4. I think it was because I found out I can get all the nice music for free and then google'd Alex's website. I had to click on every item and subitem in the navigation, and when I find something like a Binärpilot forum, I join that Binärpilot forum, u know.
5. He mainly had a big influence on my last.fm top 10 list. I think he outdistanced every other artist on my list, and did that in... 3 weeks? And then the music - no joke! - helps me when I do stuff that is nerd related in any way. I listen to it at programming (except when I'm really, really angry about some stupid logical error I can't find) and soldering.
6. He's a nice person with humour, I think. I love how fan-friendly he acts, not that kind of 'can't touch me' star. Well, he's more of a underground star anyway, but I love that too. Don't take that as a try to suck up to him, I mean that honestly.
7. America sucks, yeah. :D And Zephyr, you are a gas in German (in English Ethane :D) :]

1. Alexander, 28, Norway, Webdeveloper

5. Gotten me through some rough times, and literally kept me on my toes from dancing
6. Complete tool
7. You guys are awesome and make my day everytime I visit

That's awesome, thanks heaps guys! I think I'm ready for the "real" interview/s now, but if you havn't posted and you still want to then go ahead.

2. Urørt back in the days. A good few years ago, heard him and liked him there twice, remember some images of lp's spinning around in my head while seated at kitchen table, seeing what kind of musician and all, re-found him a few times before remembering and keeping as a permanent part of my music library.
3. - as above. Saw many pictures in my head.
4. Get closer to some of my favorite music, learn from the master (to make my own music). "Meet" people with some of the same interests.
5. Renoise. Some parts of music making. I think I had one of my breakthroughs of actually managing to dance out amongst people when he played at a school party of ours.
6. Cool, smart. Said hi a few times after shows, but I was to shy in my head to really notice a lot. Has some cool dance-moves.
7. Binärpilot is good music, long live home production and the scene.
The internet is a thief and a giver. Takes all your time but gives so much too, like twitter-addiction and interesting blogs and sites and infinite possibilities. Safety in anonymity and so on. Keep rocking in the free world/internet!

I'd better start writing this then! Just need the message back from Alex though.

Thanks so much, everyone, you've been such a great help. (And surprisingly so has that birthday thread.)

Is Rachael (Stover) the same person who did the Madtracker interview?
