So, what did you get? Anything special? I got two cafetières (I didn't know that word, ok? The dictionary helped out); one large when I have guests, and one small for myself. Caffeine Heaven, here I come!
Also, I got a book called "1001 ridiculous ways to die" from my sister. I'm not sure whether she's insinuating something or what.

Also, I just realised how every thread (or at least most of them) end up diverging from their original topic into a cyborg t-rex inspired conversation or such, including this rather harmless Christmas thread. I shall thus pronounce koew's law, an altered version of Godwin's law :
As a binaerpeople discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving cyborgs or tyrannosaurs approaches 1.
You can now append this to the rules of the Internet.

I propose an even better law:
If a thread contains no Cyborg T-Rex, the total value of the thread is accumulated by one per post (inital post + replies). This number will probably increase over time, but as long as there's no Cyborg T-Rex, the total thread value (TTV) is 1. By each reply by Cyborg T-Rex, the TTV is increased by a 1.3 factor, thus increasing the Total Thread Enjoyment Value (TTEV). The TTEV can be defined as: If it's above 2.4, it's funny as hell. Otherwise: Needs moar Cyborg T-Rex.
