So, how do you get in this beta sheeit? No, I'm not going to google it, thanks for asking.
Also, can I play it on a Mac?

Only robots with beta keys are accepted. And we play on the EU version of Battle.net, which means there's "Shit" and "Fuck" all over the place, pardon my french.
Two matches so far. Looks gorgeous but plays like a cow. I mean, I play like a cow.

about 20 hours later…
After a few days of suckage I finally managed to fix up my game, and I'm now at a 1:1 ratio.
My EU Battle.net ID is inge at elektronaut dot no, or elektronaut.elektronaut if you wanna play.
You need a beta key, which you can get from either preordering or from someone already in the beta. Works fine even on my trusty old '06 Macbook Pro. There are different realms for EU and US determined by your Battle.net account (which kinda sucks).

Played the last 8-9 games with a complete n00b-tard. Well, he gave me the beta key so what could I do? He never wanted to push when we'd defended or whatever. Just heap up alot of units and go into one big battle...

i'm not the best, but i just play for fun. and the fact that i need more exp in the RTS realm of gaming. to much fps for me. i mean, look at my e-mail its named after an FPS, garry's mod, which is like the best freaking ting to do with ten dollars on the planet!

I just read the article about Blizz banning single player cheaters. Makes me shudder.
If they cheat in single player, why ban them? I mean, if they bought the game they should be able to do a /god whenever they want to, right?

I guess the reasoning is that if you cheat SP you're more likely to cheat MP. Seems a bit thin though. I agree with you on this one, but I do think that people who cheat online should be skinned alive.

Sure. I was only talking about single player. You don't mess with multiplayer.

'Cause of achievements. They would have no meaning at all if players could cheat to get them. (And are a rather important part of your Bnet profile)
You win tournaments by having achievements? You don't get better micro management by building additional pylons.

But this way, Bnet profiles have a value in themselves : they can't be fake.
I personally consider the new BattleNet and the deactivation of LAN mode a good thing from Blizzard to counter piracy (as long as the price of the game is one-shot)

Especially when there's a huge tournament, and someone fucks up the connection.
