Started working on a Binaerpilot wallpaper after I heard the music. Still in progress, just trying to figure where to go from here at the moment. But for now here's the Binaerpilot logo 3d-ified:

This is very sexy. To be honest it doesn't need to go much further than different angles and higher resolution.

Sorry I couldn't post back until now. I've been on vacation visiting relatives and just got back late last night.

Sorry, I didn't get home until late, and 3ds Max takes a while to render. Especially ambient occlusion passes. But I'll get the front angle done soon enough. :)

Thank you! The first one, could you make the perspective about half that? It was a little too much when I see it in front of me. Sorry in advance if I'm being a pain the ass.
On a serious note, Binär: Please decide what logo you're going to use. I'm one for nostalgia, so I still love the 8-bit skull (old t-shirt one). Right now it feels like you're undecided like a 16-year old girl who don't know whether she likes Bob or Bill.

And there he goes again... The Kurinto graphic is the original type 3d-fied, I thought you'd be happy!
Let's hash this out once and for all. The robot-icon, don't think I haven't sketched on a bigger one for months. But I'm not happy with it. Bottom line: I don't have a symbol for Binärpilot right now, and unless somebody makes something really cool that's not going to change anytime soon. (The red circle A didn't have any staying power with me, so that's gone.)
If however you're not thinking about the symbol: The "logo" is going to change on every album, that makes sense to me since different artists do them. As for the site, I doubt that it will ever stick as the design changes, but I like the idea of keeping the Battlestar typography.
Discuss.

I agree on the Battlestar typography. But to have a logo (favicon too) that stays the same would be better for branding/recognition.

I'm making an attempt to transform these into themes for Firefox (and maybe Google Chrome, if I can.) Could I get a large copy of the favicon please? Anywhere up to 200 px would be nice, thanks.
