2010 is upon us! Did you guys have a good New Years Eve? We woke up too late and couldn't buy beer at the store (wtf is up with Norway and the arbitrary rule of not selling beer past 3 on new years eve?) so we had to go to Møller's Cafe right around the corner from our place (lol) If you've never been there it's like the only 18-year-old bar in Oslo now and filled with loud obnoxious teens listening to stuff like Mars Volta and the Ramones acting tough and what not. We had a little bit of a laugh at our circumstances but it actually ended up being a fun night. Drank a few beers, acted like we were too cool to be in there and played some drinking games. Laughs ensued.

Aaand what is everyone looking forward to this year? Did you make any resolutions?

My Resolutions:
1) Live more in the present and look more towards the future. Stop bumming about things I can't control
2) Take more pictures

Looking forward to:
1) Turning 20 (wooooop)
2) Honeymoon
3) Studying
4) Getting my Norwegian Visa
5) Seeing Family
6) Summer in general. This winter is killing me. :)
7)Nordland. Oh yes.

Anyway, I hope everyone's new year is absolutely wonderful!

Got home from the party, today, about 16 o'clock (that's 4 pm for you non-metrics!).
Exhausted ain't the right word, but it's the one that comes to mind.

I don't got resolutions, but I do look forward to start studying, having a laugh, drinking (just not right now) and summer.

Oh and Nordland. Yessssssss!

coffee, more art, writing, reading, writing, writing, photoshop, take pictures, draw, write, read, more poetry readings, training: just so I get a little more fit, etc., walking. More constructive work, more work. produce more food, drink more coffee. etc. etc. etc.


but hell, I forgot making music, that probably is under the category of "art" anyway.

those are my resolutions, i guess.

and well, I look forward to nordland, to doing the new things. To being done with school, hopefully getting admitted into the one I want to enter after summer. haha. would be lovely to have gotten into the anthology in the shortstory competiton I entered here the other day, but I doubt it.

Resolutions: Investigate reasons for smoking and finish Nordland.

Most looking forward to: Going somewhere tropical for the first time in my life. Maybe make some of those beach rockin' beats. Mmm, beats.

my resolutions: More deep development and increase knowledge ALL the time :)

I do allll the time. He mostly just lurks. Pffft. But he's been on MadTracker quite a bit lately so we have to give him props for that!

hmmm.. I think I've heard him say many times that he'd like to start using Renoise and getting familiar with it but he's so used to MadTracker that that's always the first thing he opens when he gets a beat in his head. Not a direct quote though; and I believe I am now his official press contact. Or whatever those people are called that make statements for other people.


And btw, we're totes making waffles tonight.

My new years turned out to be a bit boring, it mostly involved a lot of people speaking spanish (which I don't understand a word of).

As for resolutions, this year I want to:
1) Launch my top-secret video game related website.
2) Lose weight.

Looking forward to:
1) My new job, I'll be working for musicbrainz.org full-time, starting in february.
2) Playing Super Mario Galaxy (finally getting a wii :)
3) New job.
4) Nordland obviously.
5) Did I mention my new job already?

It's a whole new decade, and today I'm flippin' cheese burgers! Ahh, life, man, life!

A friend of mine recently got it, so we're gonna go four player mode all night. Phew! I get wet 'n sweaty just thinking about it.

I still haven't played the DS version of that :/

Anyway, one of the folks in the group of friends I usually have over for multiplayer probably has it, he's more nuts about mario than I am. But it's getting harder to get the same group of four people in the same place at the same time... people get so busy when they get older :(

(ofcourse it doesn't really have to be the same people for mario, but we usually play some 4-player coop RPG.. we started with FF:CC and Zelda Four Swords)

I've only gone as far as two player. It's fun as hell, nonetheless.

Oh man oh man it was a blast! Looking forward to more in the future.
