Cyberspace » Binaer People Wishlist

As there's alot of different people using this forum, with different tastes in music (or the electronical part of music), this is the thread where the fans of Binärpilot post their wishes when it comes to Binär's music. It doesn't have to be a complete song. I might just be a comment of inspiration for our great leader Binärpilot.

So if you're interested in hearing some re-mixes of Binärpilot, here's the thread to post the request!

Go crazy!
I'll start:

I'd like to hear a Binär-version of Daft Punk's Voyager.
Also I'm picturing a 8-bit song with a choir of angels or something like that (very holy).

Remix of any Boards of Canada song.

Use of sounds from any Merzbow "song"... Which is sorta unlike Binaer's style, but that's part the point- he can twist it into something that is his...

Hells yeah!
Boards of Canada would be amazing, as well as Voyager! (one of my fave DP tracks).

Ah, a nine inch nails remix would be awesome! I enjoy NIN myself, and I think it would be cool to hear one of his tracks more Binaer-ized.

All I can say is that defrag needs a sequel... the sound from defrag is simply too intensly awsome I cant stand it. I like its lyriclessness (human lyrics that is), and constant change/evolution throughout the songs. The songs are so vastly dynamic. Theyrrr Great!!!!!
^^ YES!!!
Defrag is by far the best imo, it's one of my favourite albums of all time, without a doubt.

Another thing I'd wish for, but it's just a wish mind you: Some nice guitar-tweaking, 8-bit style.

Thats the best news Ive heard all year!

How bout a binaerpilot remix of Blur - Crazy Beat?
1 day later…
Dahgrow will enjoy this.
Hyperpower!:NIN

Hm? What about that track?

Holy crap, I haven't been here in a while. My computer had crashed. It pretty much sucked. But I've replaced the harddrives now, so I'm back online.
2 days later…
Have you heard it? It kinda has the feel of...
nothing binaer, But I think it would be nicely binaerized.
And the comment aimed at you was because of your previous comments on nin.
right, of course!
I suppose I can sorta see what you mean. There is something.... hard to put my finger on, that does remind me a little of it, good point!

Cool, new tracks for me to check out. Keep 'em coming!

I, also a NIN fan, wouldn't mind seeing mixes of The Perfect Drug, Closer or Heresy (to name a few, there's tons of awesome songs to choose from).

I think, all in all though, I'd much rather just hear lots of funky new original material.

Actually I've had a change of heart. I think it would be awesome to hear mixes of Cornered and I Met A Girl that kept to the darker, more bass-driven sections of the songs.

Well I love Binäer's mix of Daft Punk's HBFS. I just heard the Kanye West song Stronger co-written by Daft. It would be cool to see what Alexander can do with it ^_^.

JT/Robotcha
Binarpilot should do a death metal influenced song, I could provide a track name if need be.

:-D
That

Would

ROCK!!!

Sorry for reviving this thread. I just caught myself singing the Wily stage 1-track from Megaman 2 (NES). Check out this vid for music/visual: http://youtube.com/watch?v=BT9OT4hsWYk

I'd die (hard) to hear a remix of it.
we must have hyperpower! remix
Mega Man 2 has good music in it. Really all the original mega man games do... The second is just my favorite.
about 14 hours later…
Daike - Eles Dee :D
Hyper power would be epic to remix.

An a remix of "Count in Fives" by The Horrors. The bassline and guitar would be really cool binaerized...

Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.

one of my alltime favorite tracks (in teh mainstream of course)

I know this is not in the same line as "death metal", "aggro", or anything "dancable" but I would love to see a new Binarpilot track that has sophisticated yet minimalistic music with multiple/layered vocoder robot vocals doing a flowy, twisty thing. Something under the 90bpm range that instead of blowing my girlfriends panties off it would make them slowly melt away.
@LoneShark: Provided you can find the module that shouldn't be too much of a problem ;)

@Angri: Wow, melting panties away? Now there's a notion. You've definitely convinced the pervert in me, I'll see what I can do after finishing up Forte.
Sweet. Like I've said a few times around here already, I'm not all that familiar with your discography yet. Still though, when I'm listening to a song, I keep feeling like a track like that is going to be the next one, but it never comes.
about 14 hours later…
I love the slower, more minimilistic electronic music. I've been listening to Autechre, Milieu, Skytree, and some other artists that fit that. I am curious as to how minimal binaer would sound too!
20 days later…
Alex, i hope you read this, and i will be on my knees doing funky stuff if you go through with this.
I know it's a bit much to ask, but seriously: linky

I heard it on the radio earlier, and it's actually kinda chippy, has some cool vocoding, and has a pretty cool beat. The problem is that it's not Chippy enough, it needs more vocoding, and the beat needs to be much faster.

You know you want to stick your finger to one of the most fabricated artists in the industry by turning this into the dancefloor hit of the year. That is why i love you!
about 14 hours later…
LOL.
Oh man. Well, Kid606 has done some great things with mainstream music

Ok.. Here's a few songs I REALLY think you could make a great track out of.

Danger! High Voltage - by Electric Six
http://youtube.com/watch?v=2a4gyJsY0mc

Little L - by Jamiroquai
http://youtube.com/watch?v=qJbmgx0iDxk

God Loves Ugly - by Atmosphere (This ones my favorite. The song has great lyrics, flow and a sick beat. Would be nice to see what you could do with it tho. I would love to see a Piano based song from ya.)

Regardless of these great suggestions, I still want an original Binaerpiolt track that will melt (instead of blast) panties off.
about 1 month later…
Still alive-Jonathon Coulton and Ellen Mclain(?)
Yes, yes I did. It's on tpb, vuze, mininova, youtube, everywhere.
about 18 hours later…
I would love some pantie melting. Would it cause burning? I hope not.
I would have said Daft Punk's Harder Better Faster Stronger or Aerodynamic, but you already have (they are hellas ballin').

I do think, however, that you could do their Human After All, since it kinda matches your style, and you could probably make it more awesome.

Also, Rick Astley or Tay Zonday.
Also, more "infrasonic parts" like in ah, I really like that song.
Rick Astley again, I'm starting to think this thread is cursed.
Also, Tetris-Music A would be the best thing ever.
Ohh and how about that song, wossisname....Smile (Make Your Body Move)....can you make it into Binärpilot-ish? (Okay, I'm asking for it now)

Still, I'm on the Daft Punk - Discovery wagon. I'd love to hear what you could tweak out of that digitalized harp.

In my dream last night, I had tickets for a London Binarpilot gig, and I missed it! :(

"Never Gonna Give You Up". Seriously, do it.
"Together Forever", or "Don't Say Goodbye" are my favourites.
Of course Never Gonna Give You Up is also pwn.
Michael Buble's "Feeling Good", or Muses rendition of it cause Muse is so damn Pro

Infected Mushroom's "Drop Out", "I Wish", "Ratio Shmatio", "Blink", "Illuminaughty", or/and "Pletzturra"

Muse's "Starlight", "The Gallery", "Recess", and/or "Bliss"
