Gaming » New games?

Because you guys are cool, do you know of any cool games that are coming out soon that I should get? I only know a couple *coughcough*Gyakuten kenji*coughcough*. Keep in mind that I'm a poor high-school student with no job, only owns a DS, has a crappy computer, shares a PS2, and has very limited access to a 360

Other than that, try Mirror's edge. It runs fine on my computer, with a 2.8ghz P$ (crap), 2gigs RAM (meh) and a PNY Nvidia 8400 GS (alright) on PCI (CRAP!).
The ROM scene is nice too. You can run them on your PC or your DS, if you have a flashcart.

i woulD havE no idea where you could get any roMs thOugh. you Need tO fInD them On youR own. DOes Paris hilton rElate to this comment? pRObably not. MS.com
Hah, I remember being fourteen all over again, playing with myself and the only entertainment was my imagination. The sky was the limit back then, I tell you...
Ummmm..... I'm 16....
Fourteen, sixteen - what's the difference, eh?
2.
DS- Chrono Trigger
PC- Team Fortress 2 or Fallout 3, if you computer can handle either
PS2- Katamari Damacy

None of these are new, btw. Just things I've recently been playing.
I love katamari damacy!!! My mom bought a game for her ipod touch that's a portable version of it

I am enjoying Rhythm Heaven / Rhythm Paradise on DS (though not nearly as much as its predecessor). And recently purchased Ys Book I & II for DS because I liked Ys 6, but haven't started playing it yet.

As for crappy pcs, keep an eye on places like http://indiegames.com/blog/, there's lots of cute little independent games being made these days which are free or don't cost all that much, and run on older hardware :). I don't play much on PC, but when I do I'm currently playing through Emerald City Confidential, which is ok-ish.
Ooooh. Cool

PC: lol Tryout World of Warcraft. Its highly addicting. (I got away from it) it costs a lot and it should probably (Hell how is that word written??) work on a commodore 64.

I can't say what works on a low end Computer. My computer is the lower end of High end.

Sorry.
'Tis okay. Besides, My step dad sold my little brother's soul to WoW. (My little brother said he didn't need it...)
I didn't get it
Do your step dad have any share of Blizzard stocks or something?

I've been playing a few FPSs. Team Fortress 2 and AssaultCube, specifically. I've had TF2 for a year and just got around to playing it. If you ever get completely bored, get some emulators, and play some older console/handheld games. Works for me.

no. He got my little brother addicted to it

Braid.
Yay, just finished Emerald City Confidential this morning before I left for work. Now I can start playing something new on pc :)

Braid is awesome.

Diablo II for sure. I like singleplayer the best. It's pretty much the best free (not paying monthly) game ever. System requirements are basically any version of windows or a mac.
I've played Diablo II before. I loved it! I don't know what happened to it...
Scribblenauts for DS. I hear you can summon shit to drown Rick Astley in it, or something...

Scribblenauts.

Blocktrix is an instant classic. Especially now that i'm better than ________. Its fun watching him (or her) get super pissed when I pwn him (...or her). What?
Who dares challenge my position as legend of Tetris?!

Alexander wins.

FATALITY

YOU HAVE PLAYED WITH OTHER PEOPLE WITHOUT ME SO MANY MORE TIMES SO IT DOESN'T EVEN COUNT!

don't believe his lies.
First of all, no. Second of all, this is THE RESET edition of the scoreboard. Need I remind you what the two old ones look like? Also, half ur points r from playing a bot.

Alexander wins.

ACTUALITY

you dirty whore. that's a damn lie and you know it! I have never played with Peter and I've played with Inge once! Do you have the last games Partyline?! Because I was kicking your and Silje's ASSES.

And now you won't play me because you're afraid of the truth: I am becoming the new Tetris master. (Sadly, this is due to not having a life while being in America and practicing alone) The official excuse: I'm making sandwiches. SUUUUUURE. I'll be here when you're ready. READY TO LOSE YOUR TITLE.
Touché, Nubbins McNaab, touché. I think we'll have to reset the scoreboard before our next session. And don't worry, I will post the results here for all to see. For all to see you fail to challenge he who is legend. Forever. Amen.
Ummmm..... 'kay? >>;
I lold.
So yeah, as far as games go, Telltale Games' games are fairly entertaining, I got Tales of Monkey Island's first episode for free yesterday as part of the promo for the Talk Like a Pirate Day, which is today by the way (Arrr). It's nowhere nearly as good as the original, so I'd recommend you get ScummVM to emulate the first three games instead, and lots of other great Point and Clicks.
P.S.: Nobody can surpass my Tetris mastery.
i believe a guy at my school ranks quite high in tetris. (like on some site like worldwide lol)
where is the tetris world championship this year?
you should all attend, and THEN! you will see who is master (it will definetely not be me, i suck at it lol)
It's okay. I suck at it too
