Binärpilot Community

I would like to suggest the creation of Binärpilot calling cards. Something that's easy to distribute among fans, and awesome to spread at gigs/school/wherever. If Binär or any design crew (Elektronaut?) would create something awesome, I'd be glad to participate financially.

SO, with the release of Nordland coming up we need to start generating some serious HYPE. I have written an email that I'm sending out to some blogs/sites that I will list below. I suggest you do the same. PLEASE do not lengthen the email as it will jeopardize it's chances of getting read. People like things short and sweet you know, and this is long enough as it is.Capeesh? Capeesh.

Yet another edit. I just trimmed this down to be specific for Nordland's release but am a bit buggy with words today, so if you find a better way of explaining this or feel it necessary to add more info, feel free to do it. Just try to keep it around this length.

"Electronic musician Binärpilot's first physical release, Nordland, is going to be available on 08.08.2010. We (the fans) are mailing links and tracks to sites like yours because we feel this music is truly unique and that readers of [your site] will enjoy it. Go visit http://binaerpilot.no/ to listen and download all released tracks for free, and to read more about Binärpilot."

Remember to add your email and Alexander's alexander@binaerpilot.no email and track links. I don't know how Alexander feels about Superheroes mailing any tracks from Nordland, so you'll have to ask him. Otherwise stick with the classics (Goof, Smile, etc)

The danger of creating hype now, is that people might forget it when Nordland's released. Do we have an ETA up? :D

:P Koew's just using this as a cover for finding out when Nordland is going to be released ;) No, just kidding, not like it's going to be a secret or anything.. All I honestly know is that it's this summer and it's very close to being done.

Alexander will be contacting Ray (the guy doing the cover art) this week to get that sorted. Baby steps, but moving in the right direction!

Ray is listening to the album and making art right about now.

A lot of this is out of my control so I am wary of setting dates. But, I can promise that the superheroes will have their hands on the album in full before the end of July.

Just wanted to check to see if anyone had heard anything from existing spam or had any links/info to share.

I was contacted by two people from Free Music Archive who not only updated the page but were very eager to help hype when the album gets closer to release, so that's good.

Traffic has been steadily high the past week or two, which is also really great; hoping to keep it that way for the coming weeks.

AFAIK we haven't heard/seen anything from Ray since Alexander sent him the tracks, and I don't know about you but I'm SO stoked to see what he comes up with. Here's a link to his work if you haven't seen it already: http://frenden.com/
