Took me a while to understand that "Yoko" was not a new member on the forum :)
I agree on not giving away too much of the album, but teasing with 15-second parts of songs or making small youtube videos would keep people on edge about a release !
I don't know if Alex has as much time as before to make music these days… which is totally fine by me, he doesn't owe us anything anyway :)

I don't need no real teasers before non-superheroes, really. I consider Backstage-stuff Superhero things. Also I just like being a superhero. Great vacation time, good pay-offs and luxurious bonuses like having a picnic on Mars.

When I have a couple more songs finished, I will make short teasers. What we discussed was the somewhat anticlimactic feeling of releasing an album where only one song was brand new for the die hard fans. Which I am inclined to agree with. That being said I wish I could share the new stuff right now, but I'm holding back for a reason.

tbh, I wanted to see Aphex Twin, not Raphex Twin (like my play on words?!) It was good but it wasn't really "him". I want to hear Window Licker, girl/boy song, Come to daddy, etc. THE HITS. It was fun but yeah, would have liked to hear stuff that actually sounded like his music rather than a dance version of it :/

Yeah, I would've liked to hear more from the analord series, some of the stuff from I care because you do and druqks, but I still liked it, though. It was interesting and pretty cool. The lights and screens were pretty awesome, and when he played that one song that i really really like /think it was that tuss song, or one from analord, don't remember (feel stupid not to.)
Would have wanted to be more in it, not so tired from a full day of bullshit work. But I'm happy to have seen him at all, in addition to the fact that I liked parts of it a lot.

I wanted Nordland to feel brand new, so never listened to any of it before the album was properly released.

Anyway, as for what I'm supposed to be doing, well surprisingly little. I should probably be working on my programming school project, but I've a decent part of the work done already, and still 16+ weeks to go. It's not procrastination if I've already worked on it, right?

Right now not much. In 2 hours, getting my wisdom teeth extracted... So I'm going to spend the weekend mildly drugged on opiates and possibly drooling on myself. Sounds fun.
