But after a while you notice that you don't have the flexability to creat whole songs live.
because you can't edit the loop :(

I have my own dropbox @ home :P as Linux on a server
I also have my servers running but i meant some music hosting site like myspace not a file hoster ;)

In this case, you home linux won't help you share files with use like DropBox would, but I can understand criticism against cloud data storage.
