spore looks like a good idea poorly executed. I've heard it's rather simple, and the gameplay wears thin.

I thought it sounded boss until I read you go from microbe to galactic conquest in two hours. That really killed the excitement for me so I haven't downloaded it yet. Bring back strategy games like MOO2, where you'd play for fucking weeks. Alas, nobody cares about single-player anymore. God damn internetz, fucking up my gamez.

Space Age is where a lot of the gameplay happens, but I think a big part of the game is the creature/vehicle creator. I should post some of my stuff.

Spore used to have way more depth, but EA really fucked it up.

Fallout 3 is just about the only single-player game I've looked forward to for quite some time.
