Cyberspace » Namedropping Binärpilot

At lunch today one of my co-workers were plodding through the concert listings in the newspaper. Looking over her shoulder (the amount of newspapers at work is quite limited), the coming gig at John Dee with Xiu Xiu listed Binärpilot as playing support.

I exclaimed: "Oooh, I know that guy IRL. He rocks!". She was not impressed.

From this experience I induct that women at the age of 40+ do not generally find electro-chip awesome. At all. Nor do they think you're a rockstar if you say you know a rockstar.

Have you been successful at namedropping Binärpilot? Let's hear about it!
Just now in a meeting with the Øyafestivalen art director. I didn't bring it up, but it was a successful namedrop nonetheless. "Oh you're Binärpilot? That's good to know, might need to talk to you later."
Does it count if you're namedropping yourself?
It was our boss, spoilsport.
I didn't see the I didn't bring it up bit :p
