I'm Ethan, my fourteenth year will arrive in exactly 1 month. I am currenly making my own music, with help from my keybord abilities I gained in the end of my third grade. I prefer to stay inside, with a computer keyboard in front of me, and a screen right behind it.

the problem is, i put all my music on a flash drive and (but i havn't checked, i probably shoudl) i think i deleted it all of my computer. which sucks. i then accidently deleted the music of that flash drive when i was trying to transfer Interstella 5555 (LOVE that movie!) to get it on my ipod via this computer.
so, i've had to start all over again. which made me very unhappy for a few days. deeep depression.
BUUUT the new tracks are better, because i'm learning more about the program i use.
it will still take a while though.
thanks for the encouragement tho!

I'm yet another another paranoid person traveling through the intertubes, and so won't tell you my real name. You can call me Pixels if you want.
I'm from New Zealand (any other kiwis here?) and enjoy doing 3D & VFX stuff as well as photography and messing around with a bit of digital art.
Oh, and hi!

@Zeph: I've had a couple of those myself. Never fun, but in the very least it pushes you to keep producing.
@Pixels: Paranoia is not necessarily a bad thing, especially on the interweb. Welcome!

Hi there !
I'm Richard, from France, and just want to thank you Alexander for your awesome tracks, almost listening for them every day while i'm driving to my work place. "You make me smile when job make me driving through ^^".
Trying to learn how to use trackers at the moment but it seems to be too time consuming now to get something nice (i'm 25 years old IT technician right now).
Anyway, keep up the good work man, and I really hope to see you sometimes in France (maybe in Rennes which is a city full of students and got a real community of retro gaming/chiptune music lovers with one of the biggest arcade/retro gaming event in Europe http://stunfest2010.3hitcombo.fr/dossiers/categorie_2_english.html )
Love & Peace !

Hello, I am Gorix the G (you can make up whatever the G stands for, cause I never thought of anything). I became 17 about a month ago and (obviously, or else I wouldn't be posting here) I love Binaerpilot. I have resided in south-west missouri for all my life and want to be a video game programmer after I finish college. I have a big oppertunity to make flash games with help from my best freind in the world, but the only thing standing in the way is my crappy computer.

I'm a cynical idealist and part time computer nerd. I'm also a tone deaf singer and a rythymless drummer.
what?
Yes welcome Ninjat, hope to hear some music with those starting points! :D

Ah, here we go, intro page. My name is not important, and I go by many pseudonyms, most recently (and possibly more permanently) Exaro. I create music, and I play Keyboard, Trumpet and French Horn. I like to think I'm not too bad at making electronic music, writing raps and writing and singing songs.
I am also a close personal friend of Ninjat, who just lost the game. All your base are belong to us. ('Cept "base" is now "bass" and "us" is Binaerpilot.) I congratulate his (Ninjat's) willingness to want to make an attempt at drumming for my band, currently in need of a drummer.
Yea, we dig memes. Sort of. I wasn't around for most of them and missed out, so I'm sort of re-living them. As a great man once said, "Yo dog, I heard that yo and yo dog like yo-yo's, so I put a 'yo dog' in yo yo-yo so yo can yo-yo 'yo dog' while yo dog yo-yo's."
I hope to be able to upload music somewhere around here (or linked to here) so that I don't have to link this pseudonym with my Youtube account (which also uses a cover name).

Exaro, apparently we like memes as well. We like them so much we make our own memes, to put into memes, while we meme.

My name is Ryan, 15, I've been really into music for about 5 years now on Bass Clarinet. I have always liked electronic music but never really got inspired to do anything until I heard Binaerpilot. Now I am making music. Thank you for inspiring me to do something with my passion. (Btw Ah is my favorite song of yours to this day)
Bass clarinet is like the most awesome instrument EVER! Man. it seriously rocks and kicks ass and everything wow.
Welcome Rayn!

The awsome buzz of a clarinet crossed with the power of bass. Oh yea.
Welcome Ryan, I'm new here too. Hoping to hear some music from you! (You do make your own music, right?)

Hm, I just realized I never actually wrote anything here, only lurked :)
I'm a norwegian viking from the cold north, just finished school and started working as an electrical engineer. Some times I make tunes in renoise, and some times I rock out by myself with my roland e-drum kit ( which I bought on an impulse two weeks ago) - I still suck at it.

Hi I'm Andrew,
Just stumbled upon your music and got to say I'm an addict already. I play video games too much. Love computers and building them. Not a huge programmer, just fascinated with hardware. I love all times of music.
I would like to know how to create music and beats with computer programs. Never done it before but I'd like to learn. Anyone know of any good programs or beginner things I could look into? Thanks. BTW Binaerpilot/Alexander thanks for the music, I love it.

Greetings Andrew, welcome to a forum of unending awesome music and weird self-referential memes.
If I may recommend a music making software, I'd have to say Renoise. Get the demo for free, you can buy the full version quite cheaply in order to have the built-in ability to export your songs (but you can still record them using audacity or something if you only have the demo, but shhh, it's a secret).

Hey! Welcome! Enjoy... everything I guess.
As awesome as Renoise is, I've still not quite got the hang of all of the features, which will take a while... But I've been making an album using energyXT, and I've found that to be pretty cool too.

My question is, exactly where do I find more samples like synth samples, piano samples, guitar, bass hits, kicks. I don't mind paying for them. But so far I've looked around and found crappy samples that I haven't used. Any seggustions?
